Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu made statements on his social media account about allegations that religious orders were placed on state personnel.

“THIS IS NOT THE CASE”

Soylu used the following expressions in her posts:

* It is unacceptable that certain groups influence politics, capital and the State outside of democracy and the legal system, that they govern them, that they take power by infiltrating certain places.

* In addition, there is no such situation in any unit in our state. But the belief groups are an acknowledgment of our historical process, our tradition and our land, referring to the guided discussions of the last days.

* Furthermore, the belief preferences of individual people is a natural result of democratic life.

* However, just as individual abuse or the abuse of belief groups cannot be allowed, these feats will not have the opportunity to attack the values of our civilization and our land.

* As Home Secretary, I say: The assessment that any group of beliefs rules and infiltrates certain points of the state is a new area of exploitation in itself and it is not true. It’s a lie. It is provocation.
