In Izmir, two women, of foreign nationality, were arrested, who allegedly went to the houses of people they met on social media in ISTANBUL and seized drugs that they added to their drinks.

Teams affiliated with the Directorate of the Extortion Office of the Subdirectorate of Public Security launched an investigation after the extortion notifications occurred in Çekmeköy and Büyükçekmece. It was determined that the two suspected women went to the homes of people they communicated with through social media and these people added sleeping pills to their drinks. The teams determined the vehicle’s license plate and the identity of the suspects, who learned that they had seized valuable belongings from the houses and followed the suspects. As a result of their tracking, the teams detained two suspected women in Izmir Alsancak on Thursday, October 1.

The Kyrgyz citizen Mariana K. (27) and the Belarusian Anastasiya M. (26), who were taken to the Directorate of the Subdirectorate of Public Security, were transferred to the court once their procedures at the branch were completed. The suspects were arrested and sent to prison in the court where they were taken.
