In the session attended by then-UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and Arab League Secretary General Amr Musa, Erdogan addressed Washington Post writer David Ignatius, who led the session, reacted as “One minute” and spoke against Peres as follows. :

* Your voice is getting too strong. You are older than me, I know your voice is too strong that I is a requirement of guilt psychology. My voice won’t sound that loud. You know him that way. When it comes to killing, you know how to kill very well.

* I know very well how you killed and shot the children on the beaches. There are prime ministers who say ‘I consider myself another happy one’ when they enter Palestine on tanks. There are prime ministers who say ‘I am glad when I enter Palestine’ in the tanks. And you give me numbers. I will give you his name, some of you may ask.
