President Erdogan made the following statement after the cabinet meeting;
In education, we had previously started face-to-face education in preschool and early grades on a limited basis. Today we decided to expand the scope of face-to-face training. We start face-to-face education in grades 2, 3 and 4 within the framework of certain rules. Face-to-face education will begin in grades 8 and 12
In addition, face-to-face training is provided in private schools and village schools approved by the provincial sanitation committees. Our request of our students is to strictly adhere to the cleanliness, mask, and distance rules. Our Ministry of National Education is working to provide computers for distance education. In the first stage, we began studies to deliver tablets to 500,000 students. Our Ministry of Transportation is working to bring the Internet infrastructure of our country to the appropriate level for this need. With Türk Telekom, Turkcell and Vodofone, we will quickly move forward with execution.

Ziya Selçuk, Minister of National Education, made the following statement;
“We are happy to meet more students in our schools.
On Monday, October 12, we will open all elementary schools, village schools, grades 8 and 12 and schools for our children with special needs.
We want to meet with all of our students on health and safety.
