The Azerbaijani army continues its operations against the territories occupied by Armenia. As part of the operations carried out, yesterday the dominant hills of the Magadiz region were liberated from Armenia.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced on his social media account that the Magadiz region was completely liberated from the Armenian occupation. Aliyev said: “Today, the Azerbaijani army planted the Azerbaijani flag in Magadiz. Magadiz is ours. Karabakh is Azerbaijan. After October 3, I will change the name of Magaviz. From now on, Magadiz’s name will be Segovusan (His reunited).
“ERDOĞAN SHOWED THAT AZERBAIJAN IS NOT ALONE IN THE COURT CASE”
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s statements on the Armenian attacks proved once again that Azerbaijan was not alone in its just cause.
In his letter to President Erdogan, Aliyev recalled that the Armenian army launched another military provocation against Azerbaijan on September 27 and opened fire on settlements and military positions with various weapons, including heavy artillery, from different directions.
Stating that soldiers and civilians died as a result of this provocation, Aliyev pointed out that the Azerbaijani army also launched a counterattack.
Aliyev claimed that the Armenian attack on September 27 was not the first incident in which the Yerevan administration resorted to military provocation against Azerbaijan, and claimed that the July-August attacks and the illegal settlement of foreigners in the occupied territories Azerbaijani showed that Armenia did not abandon its aggressive policy.
Aliyev claimed that the Armenian administration made the negotiation process meaningless with statements such as “Nagorno-Karabakh is Armenia”.

Aliyev stated that the Turkish Council of which they are members accepted a statement on the importance of resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as soon as possible on the basis of sovereignty, territorial integrity and immunity from the internationally accepted borders of Azerbaijan on 28th of September, and thanked Erdogan for this statement.
