President Erdoğan spoke at the opening ceremony of Konya City Hospital. The highlights of President Erdogan’s speech are as follows:

One of them is the Konya Municipal Hospital. Our hospital was originally planned with 838 beds, we gave our instructions during the opening ceremony and increased the number of beds to 1250. With its 240 intensive care beds, 49 operating rooms, it has become a work of honor. The fact that it served almost 100,000 people last month is a sign of the investment made. We will put the remaining part into service immediately after the New Year. The second project is the historic wheat and landscaping market. This project will bring a new beauty to our Konya. I was pleased that Konya, the ancient capital of the Seljuk state of Anatolia, which smells of history, takes care of it. It is the ring road that we built to ease Konya’s urban traffic. We open the first stage of the 22 km road. The other parts will be put into service gradually. We open the Kayacık Logistics Center. It will contribute to the employment of the city. The latest investment is 1,682 residences, mosques, social facilities, shopping centers, and landscaping.
“TO TAKE UNDER SIEGE OF TURKEY PROMPTS”
On the occasion of the new legislative year of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which began yesterday, we had the opportunity to share the issues on our country’s agenda. The struggle that our country has been waging, both at home and abroad, is not independent of this global transformation. A Turkey of the century, asked to be excluded from the world order, as was done half a century ago. From Syria to the Mediterranean Sea and the Caucasus to these points, Turkey is under open siege. The place of our country in the new global economic and political order depends on the struggle we wage at home and abroad. To do this, we set the 2023 goals. Thanks to the unity shown by our nation, we frustrate the games. There was a strong recovery in the economy in the last year and the first quarter of this year. We took a little hiatus in the second quarter with the epidemic. We received good news in the third quarter.
INVESTMENTS IN KONYA
We have invested more than 60 billion lira in Konya in the last 18 years. This is because of our love for Konya. We built 8,604 new education classrooms. We have created 3 new universities. We open dormitory buildings for 20 thousand people for our students. The construction of our 3 bedrooms with 7 thousand beds continues. We have completed 70 sports facilities and youth centers. The first candle in Turkey is built.
