According to the information obtained, sympathizers of terrorist organizations threw handmade explosives at a branch of a market chain in the South district. When the explosive exploded before reaching the market, the attackers fled the scene taking advantage of the darkness of the night.
At the same time as this incident, the packages were placed at two different points in the Bağlar and South districts of the city. Citizens reported the situation to police teams when the mechanism, which was disguised as a bomb, was discovered on Cengizler Street in the Bağlar district. Bomb disposal teams, which arrived at the scene in no time, blocked traffic and detonated the package with a detonator.
Citizens who saw the package, which was left around the On Gözlü bridge in the South district, reported the situation to the security forces. After the road was closed to traffic, the package here was simultaneously detonated by bomb disposal teams. The streets that were closed to traffic while there were no deaths or injuries in the incidents were reopened in a controlled manner.
