Hired professor Erdoğan Küpeli, who was arrested for harassing and threatening Gülay Mubarak, 29, who lives in Hatay in 2016 on social media, was released on condition of judicial control in the court where he was transferred.
Küpeli, who was later found to have posted insulting messages to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his social media account, was arrested and taken to Kozan Prison.
Küpeli was sentenced to a total of 8 years and 3 months in prison for “threatening”, “insulting” and “violating the privacy of private life”.
