Electricity rates for 3 months in Turkey, natural gas is determined monthly. EMRA held a special meeting to determine the new rates. At the meeting, the costs of the sector were discussed. The additional cost and other costs of YEKDEM were evaluated due to the increase of the dollar exchange rate, the increase of the exchange rate (the purchase guarantees are calculated in dollars in the production facilities such as solar, wind, hydro, etc.) . Within the framework of these data, there was an increase of 5.75 percent in all groups of subscribers in the last quarter of the year.

EMRA’s decision on the fees of October 1 was published today in the Official Gazette. Here are the old and new rates:
With this decision, one kilowatt-hour of electricity (including all taxes, stocks and funds) increased from 71.02 kuruş to 75.10 kuruş in homes, from 70.97 kuruş to 75.06 kuruş in industry and from 94.44 kuruş to 99.87 kuruş in business.
INCREASE IN TRT SHARE
2 percent of the TRT share is taken from electricity. With this increase, TRT’s share of electricity for commercial establishments increased from 1.08 kuruş to 1.16 kuruş and from 0.72 kuruş to 0.78 kuruş in residences. TRT shares are not taken from the industry.
WHOLESALE ELECTRICITY PRICE ALSO INCREASED
Elektrik Üretim AŞ (EÜAŞ) wholesale active electricity tariff also increased. Consequently, EÜAŞ’s “wholesale electricity selling price” (per kilowatt-hour) increased from Kuru 13 13.20 to Kuru k 15.48.
