Commenting on the relevant statements made by the Information and Press Office of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the ministry stated that Azerbaijan has repeatedly expressed concern about the widespread use of such methods by Armenia.
The statement from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs included the following:
“Armenia brought terrorists and mercenaries from foreign countries, especially from the Middle East, during the occupation of the Nagorno-Karabakh region and the surrounding provinces of Azerbaijan and in the subsequent attacks on our country.
The fact that Armenia has brought foreign mercenaries to the occupied areas as part of its illegal settlement policy in recent months and used them in attack operations against Azerbaijan under the name of ‘voluntary groups’ proves once again that terrorism it is part of the state policy of Armenia.
AZERBAIJAN DESTROYS ARMENIA’S 200 ARMED TANKS AND VEHICLES
In the counterattack launched by the Azerbaijani army to save its territory from occupation, the Armenian army continues to lose.
In the statement made by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense, during the four-day clashes, “Approximately 200 tanks and armored vehicles, 228 artillery and missile systems, 30 air defense systems, 6 command control and command observation zones , 5 ammunition depots, 110 cars and 1 S System 300 was reported to have been destroyed.
FOURTH DAY OF THE COUNTER-ATTACK INITIATED BY AZERBAIJAN
On the fourth day of the counterattack launched by the Armenian army after the attack on civilian settlements in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani army continued to inflict casualties on the Armenian forces.
During the violent clashes that lasted for one day, the Azerbaijani army continued its operations to clear the city of Fuzuli and the Agdere region from the Armenian forces.
The Azerbaijani army attacked the command area of the 41st Regiment of the 18th Motorized Division of the Armenian Armed Forces with a pointed shot.
After the heavy blow of the 2nd Battalion of the 7th Destroyer Regiment of the 10th Destroyer Division under the 1st Command of the Armenian Army, the Armenian forces that aided them were hit with the firing of the Azerbaijani army. The headquarters of the 5th Destroyer Regiment of the same division, located in the occupied settlement of Agdere, was also one of the targets hit during the day.
The Armenian army, whose fourth battalion in the direction of Fuzuli, was hit by heavy artillery fire, suffered heavy losses in terms of manpower and military equipment.
The Azerbaijani army destroyed 1 Armenian Uragan rocket launcher system, 2 OSA air defense systems, 8 BM-21 Grad rocket launchers, 1 infantry fighting vehicle, 16 tanks, 4 D-20 howitzers and 2 trucks in the current conflicts in different directions from the front.
The flag and documents of the 193rd Assault Battalion, which came to the aid of the 6th Mountain Regiment of the Armenian Army defeated in the Agdere (Madagiz) conflict, were captured by Azerbaijani soldiers.
Azerbaijan civilian casualties on the rise
Armenia today continues its attacks on civilian settlements and the number of casualties among the Azerbaijani civilian population has increased.
Azerbaijan’s General Prosecutor’s Office announced that the number of civilians who lost their lives increased to 15 and the number injured to 49.
During the attacks by the Armenian army in the last 4 days, 116 residences and 26 public buildings were rendered unusable.
Russia offered the parties to meet in Moscow
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Ceyhun Bayramov and Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.
Lavrov proposed the Moscow field to make the necessary contacts, including the meeting of foreign ministers.
Aliyev stipulates the withdrawal of the Armenian army to end the fighting
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visited Azerbaijani soldiers who were injured as a result of the Armenian attacks in hospital.
In his speech here, Aliyev explained that the only condition for Azerbaijan to end the conflicts is the withdrawal of the Armenian army.
