After the Scientific Committee meeting, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca made statements about the corona virus outbreak.
Responding to accusations that the number of deaths and cases resulting from the epidemic is not true, Minister Koca said: “Not all cases are positive. Not all cases are sick, there are those who are positive but have no symptoms. The claims about the number of deaths are based on misleading data from some municipalities, ”he said.
Speaking about the table in which CHP Ankara MP Murat Emir claims that the number of positive cases for Covid is almost 20 times the number of disclosed patients, Koca said: “I want to say that all the information in the table that we have provided is correct. “All the data in the table, all the numbers are correct.”
When evaluating the statements of Health Minister Koca, Murat Emir said: “The Health Minister could not respond to our claim of 29,377 cases. In addition, he confirmed our statement by noting that the cases that did not present symptoms were not included in the table ”.
