His mother Vala B. and his father Ali N., detained after torture until the murder of Hayat Neccar, a 1-year-old Syrian citizen, in Sancaktepe, were transferred to the Istanbul Anatolian Prosecutor General’s Office, which carried out the investigation after the police process.
Vala B. and Ali N. were referred to the Criminal Court of Peace in Guardia, with a request for their arrest, after inquiries by the prosecution.
His father, Ali N., claimed that he learned that his son died during the investigative stage of his questioning in court: “While waiting for the hearing, I asked my wife why my son died in the hall of the court. My husband said that when the child vomited a lot, he would bite, pinch, get dizzy and fall on the child, and he could not recover for 2-3 minutes. He said that when he woke up he saw that the boy was under him and was turning yellow. Then he changed the boy’s clothes and left him on the bed. Then he called me and told me that the boy was moaning and turning yellow. I told him to call an ambulance and that he would come immediately, ”he said.

Saying that he got into the taxi and went home, Ali N. said: “The ambulance came and took the boy to the hospital. The reason for the bruises on the child is that my wife pinched the child and fell on him. I never saw that my wife didn’t like the boy. I have never seen that my wife does not like the child, but here she told me that sometimes she does and sometimes not. My wife broke my house and victimized my three children. It made us miserable. I don’t know why he did this. I have not seen my wife use violence against our other children. I didn’t see the scars, the bruises, the butt marks of my deceased son. I don’t know how it happened. “I do not accept the accusation,” he said.
MOTHER SAID THE EVENT
In her questioning in court, Vala B., the boy’s mother, said: “I made formula for my son who died the day before. After my wife gave her the formula, she gave me the child. I put the child to bed and went to look for work at my wife. Around 4:00 p.m. the boy vomited on the bed. I got out of bed and cleaned the pillow. He vomited again around 7:00 p.m. I got up to change my clothes and at that moment I got dizzy. I fell on my son. I don’t know how long I’ve been with the boy. When I woke up, I saw the child below me. He was pale and moaning. I immediately called my wife. “My wife came and took the child in her arms while holding him.”
‘I bite your belly, I got little
Vala B. said that she was afraid of the boy when she saw him at night and said: “When I saw the boy with his eyes open at night, I was afraid of him. Sometimes I loved my son very much and other times I didn’t like her at all. Unconsciously I was pinching my son. I was doing this when I got lost. It was just pinching and biting. I bit my son’s stomach. When I didn’t love, I was biting my son. I didn’t explain to them how this happened before because I was so scared. My wife has never witnessed, did not see the bruises on the child. That’s why my wife didn’t understand anything. I have behaved like this in the last few days. I just gave the facts. I don’t have any mental health problems. I’ve been getting dizzy a lot lately. I did not use violence with my other children in this way. I am very sorry. It really hurts the heart. My conscience hurts, ”she said.
MOTHER IS ARRESTED, FATHER FREE TO JUDICIAL CONTROL
The court ordered the arrest of mother Vala B. considering the possibility that she committed the crime of “deliberately killing a person who cannot defend himself in body and spirit.”
Baba Ali N. İse was released by the court on condition of judicial control. It was decided that Ali B. would go to the police station once a week and sign it. (DHA)
