The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh was discussed in telephone conversations between German Chancellor Angela Merkel with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan also made a phone call to assess the situation in the region.
