The new economics program (YEP) will be announced by Minister Berat Albayrak on September 29, at 11:00 today, at the campus of the Ministry of Finance and Finance in Ataşehir, Istanbul.
With YEP, which is the roadmap for the next three years in the economy, basic macro indicators such as inflation, employment, growth, exports and current account deficit for the period 2021-2023 will be determined. The program, which is being prepared in accordance with the requirements of general economic conditions, will include macroeconomic policies, principles and objectives, as well as basic economic values. The program will also increase predictability for the private sector and set sector targets.
With the announcement of the YEP, the central government budget process for 2021 will reach a certain point. In preparing the ministerial and institutional budgets, the objectives and priorities of the program will be taken as a basis.
In line with the YEP, the Medium Term Fiscal Plan will also be published in the Official Gazette, which includes estimates of total income and expenses for the next 3 years, target deficit and debt status, ceilings of appropriation proposals by public administrations .
