According to a statement from the Ministry of Communications, Turkey and the United Kingdom at the meeting discussed issues to improve their relations, developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and especially emphasized that Armenia was caused by Azerbaijan in the attack regional issues were evaluated.
Reiterating their determination to increase trade and mutual investment and reach the goal of $ 20 billion in trade volume, President Erdogan and British Prime Minister Johnson agreed to deepen and strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense, which has great potential.
During the meeting, President Erdogan stated that it is in the common interest of the United Kingdom to adopt a balanced and impartial stance on the Eastern Mediterranean and to support dialogue and cooperation efforts.
Referring to the conflicts that started as a result of the Armenian attacks on Azerbaijan, President Erdogan emphasized that Armenia should withdraw from the territories it occupied in and around Upper Karabakh for peace and stability in the region.
