In his statement on the events, Hacıyev shared the information that conflicts in the region were continuing and that Armenian forces brought civilians to the region arming them.

Hacıyev told Habertürk that the Armenian intelligence chief and the Armenian ambassador to Baghdad had held talks with the PKK terrorist organization in Baghdad three times in recent history, and that as a result of the meetings with the PKK, a significant number of PKK terrorists were brought to Karabakh. .

The clashes began yesterday morning after Armenian forces opened fire on Azerbaijani civilian settlements on the front line between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani army launched a counterattack and liberated some settlements from occupation. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry stated that it destroyed 24 tanks and armored vehicles, 15 OSA-type anti-aircraft systems and 18 UAVs belonging to the Armenian army.
