Singer Halil Sezai Paracıkoğlu, who was brought to court on the grounds that he beat his neighbor in Tuzla, was arrested for “deliberately wounding with a weapon”.

On September 15, a dispute broke out between Paracıkoğlu, who rented two villas on a site in Tuzla, and Hüseyin Meriç (66), who lives in a side villa.
Meriç stated that he was beaten during the discussion and went to the Public Security Office of the Tuzla District Police Department and filed a complaint. Halil Sezai Paracıkoğlu was then detained at his home in Kadıköy by police teams, who examined the camera recordings.
Paracıkoğlu, whose declaration procedures were completed at the police station, was released.
The Anatolian Prosecutor General’s Office ordered that Halil Sezai Paracıkoğlu be brought to court and testified.
The Anatolian Prosecutor General’s Office stated that the investigation into the singer Halil Sezai Paracıkoğlu was expanded in line with the images and statements received in the file, and that the prosecution would declare the suspect for “deliberate injury with a firearm”, “insult”, “violation of home immunity” and “threat”.

Sezai’s lawyer appealed to the Anatolian Criminal Magistrate’s Office and objected to the arrest warrant. New images were entered into the file, demanding that the arrest warrant against his client be lifted and his release be decided. In the images presented by Sezai’s lawyer, Hüseyin Meriç is said to have arrived at the singer’s house with an ax.
