Students of Open Education High School, Open Vocational High School, Imam Hatip Open Education High School, and Open Education High School will not be eligible for the scholarship.

However, students who enjoy special rights by law (included in the second paragraph of article 5 of the Regulations for Internships in Official Schools, Scholarships, Social Aids and Regulations for School Guest Houses dependent on the Ministry of National Education) will continue to receive scholarships if they attend private schools.

In secondary education institutions, students with free boarding can go to scholarship, students with scholarship can go to free boarding for one time during the period of secondary education. Scholarship students will be transferred to a free boarding school without exam, and free boarding students will be transferred to a scholarship if they meet the conditions to request the scholarship exam that the Ministry performs annually through the central system and pass the exam. Students who continue their education for free do not receive additional scholarships.

EXAM EVALUATION

The İOKBS score of the students participating in the exam will be calculated according to the following steps. Each student’s answer sheet is read by an optical reader.

The number of correct and incorrect answers is determined for each of the tests of the courses in which questions are asked in İOKBS. For each test, one third of the number of incorrect responses is subtracted from the number of correct responses and the raw scores for the valid responses are found. Therefore, four separate raw scores are calculated for each student.

C. The average for each test is calculated by dividing the sum of the gross scores of all students by the number of students taking the test.
The standard deviation of each test is calculated using the raw scores, the test averages, and the number of students taking the test.

The standard scores calculated for each test are multiplied by the coefficients given in the following table to find the weighted standard scores for each test.
The total weighted standard score (TASP) is obtained by summing the weighted standard test scores.
