Azerbaijan has declared a state of war!

After the session held in the Parliament of Azerbaijan, a state of war against the Armenian attacks was declared.

Vice President Hiket Hacıyev said that according to the decision of the Azerbaijani Parliament, martial law and the country’s curfew were adopted.

The justification for declaring war on Azerbaijan according to article 111 of the Constitution included the following statements:

* When a certain part of the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan is occupied, when there is a real threat of armed attack against the Republic of Azerbaijan, when a foreign state or states declare war on the Republic of Azerbaijan, in case of a real threat , the state of war in the entire Republic of Azerbaijan and in its regions separated by instruction of the President of Azerbaijan is announced and the decree is submitted for approval by the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan within 24 hours.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry announced that Armenia organized an attack and many civilians were injured and killed as a result of the attack. When Azerbaijan responded to the attack, Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh declared martial law and mobilization. (İHA, Reuters)
