Teams from the Şişli District Police Department launched an action to capture the suspect who shot famous actor Onur Seyit Yaran with a gun.
Serhat O., who wounded Yaran with a weapon as a result of the work carried out by the Public Security Bureau teams, was captured and detained in Kağıthane last night. During searches carried out at the address where the suspect was captured, 1 unlicensed weapon and 3 cartridges were seized.
It was learned that the suspect, who was taken to the Şişli District Police Department, said he committed the injury out of jealousy. Claiming that actress Seyit Yaran broke up with a mutual friend, Serhat O. was referred to court after his actions at the police station.
