After playing for this club for 5 seasons, he struck a deal with Genk, one of Belgium’s well-established teams, in 2016. He was traded from Premier League teams to Aston Villa for € 10.5 million during the last season stoppage.
The 27-year-old forward from Tanzania, who has played 249 career games, scored 98 goals and provided 27 assists. Samatta, the shirt of the Tanzania team, played 51 games with the national shirt and scored 18 goals.
