The incident took place in front of a famous hotel on Karaköy Kemankeş street in Istanbul the other day. Apparently, Russian-born American journalist Andre Vltchek (57) toured the Black Sea with his wife, Indonesian citizen Rossie Indira Vltchek, and a driver, with a VIP vehicle that he rented in Istanbul. On the way back to Istanbul, he said that he would sleep with his wife in Sakarya.
According to the news from Emrah Doğru from Habertürk, when they arrived in front of the hotel where they were staying for the night, his wife, who wanted to wake up journalist Andre Vltchek, saw that Vltchek was not moving. She then informed the medical teams.
Medical teams arriving at the scene determined that Vltchek was dead. The street was closed to traffic by the police. Crime scene investigation teams recorded the death of documentary journalist and investigator Andre Vltchek as a “suspicious death” in police records as a result of their investigation into the vehicle.
While the funeral was taken to the Morgu Institute of Forensic Medicine, the vehicle was taken to the police parking lot for examination.
It has been claimed that the cause of death for Vltchek, who has been ill recently, could be diabetes, heart or coronavirus.
Vltchek was also found to be diabetic with a paralyzed left foot and to regularly take two drugs, one of which was a pain reliever.

Rossie Indira Vltchek, the wife of the American journalist, was taken to the Taksim Martyr Haşim Usta Police Station of the Beyoğlu District Police Department to give a statement about the incident, which was recorded as a “suspicious death” in police records.
According to the DHA report, Rossie Indira Vitchek said: “We went to Serbia on the 5th of the month. We went to Samsun on the 12th. They said the weather in Samsun was good. Then we left for Istanbul with the car we rented and 2 drivers.” . She had a stroke on her foot. She also had diabetes. I was using two pills. She fell asleep when we approached Istanbul. I wanted to take it off when we got to the front of the hotel in the morning. She did not wake up. The drivers of the vehicle called the ambulance.
