Kayseri Provincial Director of National Education Celalettin Ekinci met with Kocasinan District National Education Director Bahameddin Karaköse, Melikgazi District National Education Director Hacı Kaya, and Kocasinan District Director of National Education Talas, Mustafa Elmalı, before the face-to-face training started today.
Ekinci took a selfie with three managers at the cafe and shared it on his Twitter account. In the photo, the director of national education for the Kocasinan district, Bahameddin Karaköse, was seen wearing a mask, while the other three principals did not comply with this rule.
Governor Şehmus Günaydın, who saw the photo on social media, ordered a criminal action against three managers who did not wear masks. Ekinci, Kaya and Elmalı were then fined 900 lire each, in accordance with article 282 of the General Health Law.
