Explaining the details, Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya said that the biggest power in industry and business life is 5,225,983 employees in the city.

According to Yerlikaya, who indicated that the first graders of preschool and primary school will begin class on September 21 at 09:00 and next week at 09:30, the police, Gendarmerie and Coast Guard units will gradually begin at 07 : 00 from September 28. Will start working at 08:00, 09:00.

The metropolitan and district municipalities will work between 08:00 and 16:00, the health personnel will work between 08:30 and 16:30 and the rest of the public personnel will work between 09:00 and 16:30.

“According to data from the Metropolitan IETT, our daily number of passengers in transport before the pandemic is approximately 7.6 million, today we see that this number has dropped to levels of 4.1 million.” Yerlikaya, who said, stressed that the regulations were made to protect Istanbul residents from the risk of epidemics during peak hours.

Yerlikaya said that, at the provincial pandemic board held yesterday, an opinion was issued for the implementation of a flexible work model for the private sector, and that the details will be released shortly.
