All Istanbul public transport buses are connected to IETT

The IMM Council unanimously decided that all buses providing public transport service in Istanbul will be connected to IETT. According to the decision, the buses will now be in one color and the trips will be designed according to the metro lines.

WALL – The Council of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) has decided to connect all city buses to the IETT. With the unanimous decision, the buses will now be in one color and the trips will be organized according to the subway lines.

With this practice, complaints on public transportation are expected to decrease. The revenues of all buses will be guaranteed by IETT and IMM. Regardless of the number of passengers transported by the buses, a fee will be paid according to the daily kilometer.

‘A NEW ERA FOR PRIVATE PUBLIC BUSES BEGINS’

Mesut Kösedağı, member of the board of IMM CHP, provided the following information about the new app:

“A new era is beginning for our private public bus drivers. There will be uniform clothing, work schedules will be clarified and social rights will be further enriched. The complaints of the people of Istanbul on public transport will decrease significantly and IETT will organize flights to more places in Istanbul. A more useful article on this is that during the pandemic process, public transportation, and especially the revenue from our private public buses, will become IETT and IMM guarantors. Income and expenses will be determined every month. Subsidy payments will be lifted and it will be clear what all of our buses will earn each month. “

‘A GOOD EXAMPLE OF HOW THE AK PARTY HELPED’

Muhammet Kaynar, head of the IMM Assembly Legal Commission, said the AK Party is helping the administration overcome problems.

Kaynar said: “We feel the need to negotiate with the commission on this system change because I would like to express that the commission is a good example of how we help the administration or the AK Party, which has the majority in parliament, to overcome the problems. Good luck, ”he said. (ANKA)
