The Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, the Institution, carried out evaluations of the agenda in the Editorial Board of the Anadolu Agency.
Recalling that a 4.7 magnitude earthquake occurred in Muş, the Institution conveyed its wishes to recover soon.
In a statement on the urban transformation works in Elazig and Malatya and the completion of housing construction in the region, the Institution stated that after the January 24 earthquake in Elazig, all ministries immediately moved to the region for order of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Institution Minister stated that they are carrying out search and rescue activities in the region, carrying out studies of debris removal and damage assessment, and that the teams work in each village, street and neighborhood.
Stating that they have followed the on-site works from Elazığ and Malatya for 1 month, the Institution indicated that they have carried out a project consisting of approximately 25 thousand independent sections.
Noting that the houses were built within the scope of the urban transformation project, where the family culture and the texture of the street will be revived, the Institution said:
“We told our citizens that we would finish and hand over our residences in stages in one year. We finished our first residences in Sürsürü. 15 of our citizens lost their lives here. We will deliver our residences. Our works are carried out quickly in Bizmişen , Malatya Pütürge, Doğanyol.
Until the end of this year, we will complete and deliver our 10,000 residences, 8,000 in Elazig and 2,000 in Malatya. We will deliver the remaining 15,000 residences in stages until June of next year. We will give our citizens our residences, which are solid, adapted to the local architecture, with green areas and social facilities ”.
“WE WILL HELP OUR BROTHERS IN ELAZIĞ AND MALATYA”
The Authority, showing the latest photos of the houses built in the region, continued as follows:
“We have completed our tenders. We have no infrastructure problems. All our infrastructure projects and productions have been completed. Now we will have finished the superstructure and healed the wounds of our brothers in Elazig and Malatya as promised. We live in an earthquake zone, we are constantly intertwined with earthquakes.
We have to learn to live with earthquakes. We prepare our provinces with the work we do, the new regulations we prepare and the projects we prepare. We continue our efforts to prepare our country for earthquakes throughout our country.
With the Presidential System of Government in Elazig and Malatya, we did not have citizens that we did not touch on the field together with our parliamentarians and mayors. We work to solve the problems of all of them one by one. Now we are getting the fruits. It makes us very happy to see that our citizens, who have lost their relatives under the rubble, are also a little happy, and to see the tears return with joy ”.
“INVESTMENT OF 9 BILLION LIRA IN ELAZIĞ AND MALATYA”
“What was the most common problem found in the area of the earthquake?” The Authority provided the following information on the matter:
“We saw that the useful life of the buildings was finished, they did not receive adequate engineering services and the field studies were not very well done. At this point, we saw the buildings, some of which were illegal, some of which did not comply with the permit and did not comply with the project. In this framework, we made our constructions by securing the ground. We partially reduced the density. We have made less than the previous number of houses, we have made more robust low-rise constructions according to the architecture of Elazığ and Malatya.
Turkey is also the first time in the history of this investment. We are conducting a process where our Housing Development Administration Presidency will complete and complete 25 thousand independent sections in one year. Both in Turkey as a transformation project will be an example to the world. Elazig and Malatya will be more beautiful than today. It will be a more livable city with its public gardens, social facilities, strong new schools, mosques and walking areas. “
FLOODS IN GİRESUN
