Mehmet Arif Kıdıman (40) in the Red Crescent vehicle was martyred. Two people were injured, including an interpreter. The injured Red Crescent staff were taken to Çobanbey Hospital. The attackers fled.
Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced that two Red Crescent staff injured in the treacherous attack were taken to Kilis State Hospital after their first intervention.

The president of the Turkish Red Crescent, Kerem Kınık, moved to the region after the attack. Kınık stated that he condemned the attack and said: “I strongly condemn the despicable attack on Red Crescent personnel, which should be protected by international law and which is inviolable under international humanitarian law because it bears the Red Crescent emblem. I believe that with the efforts of our country, the attackers will be caught as soon as possible. I wish my condolences to the entire Red Crescent community, ”he said.

The statement read: “To deliver humanitarian aid to our Syrian brothers, terrorists opened fire on the vehicle of our Red Crescent teams in northern Syria, one of the Red Crescent staff members was martyred in the treacherous attack and another member was injured. We strongly condemn this vile attack.
From the ground and the air, all kinds of measures are taken to catch terrorists who have descended to the point of attacking an inviolable aid organization under international law. The blood of our martyrs will not stay on the ground, the terrorists will pay the bill for this attack in full. ”
FROM THE CENTER OF BLOOD TO THE WAR ZONE
Mehmet Arif Kıdıman (40), who was martyred in the attack, worked at the Düzce Red Crescent Blood Center. He volunteered to support the victims of the war in Syria. I would work at the Love Store in El Bab. He was martyred in the treacherous attack he suffered on the way. His family, who lived in Düzce’s permanent residences, received the bitter news from Red Crescent officials. In Gaziantep a ceremony was held for the martyr Kıdıman. After the ceremony, the martyr’s funeral was sent to his hometown Düzce.

President Tayyip Erdoğan offered his condolences to the martyr Mehmet Arif Kıtıman and his family.
