It was reported that the health status of the mayor of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, Muhittin Böcek, who had a new type of positive coronavirus (Kovid-19) in the test and had been treated in intensive care for a time, was reported.
In the statement made on the municipality’s social media accounts, the following statements were made:
“The monitoring and treatment of our mayor of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, Mr. Muhittin Böcek, continues in intensive care. His clinic is stable and there has been no negative development in the last 24 hours.”
Mayor Böcek announced that the Kovid-19 test result was positive with a post on his social media account on August 17 and he warned everyone about respecting the rules of mask, hygiene and social distance.
President Böcek, whose health condition was followed in hospital after the test result was positive, was taken to the intensive care unit when his condition worsened.
