According to the Müslüm Evci news from the Sözcü newspaper, Selçuk CHP Kayseri MP Çetin Arık brought the corona virus death of Selçuk University School of Medicine sixth grade student Merve Mercan to the agenda of the assembly.
A shocking claim was made about the death of intern physician Merve Mercan, who is a sixth grade student at Selcuk University School of Medicine, from the corona virus. Although Merve Mercan had a faulty immune system, it was claimed that he was infected with a virus while intubating without equipment.
CHP Kayseri MP Çetin Arık put the death of Selçuk University School of Medicine sixth grade student Merve Mercan on the agenda of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
Arık, who posed a parliamentary question to the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey with the request of the Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, for an answer, sought answers to the following questions:
Is it true that senior Merve Mercan contracted a virus while intubating without equipment despite having immune system failures? Have you conducted any investigation into the allegations? If the allegations are true, what kind of action do you intend to take against those responsible?
Many health workers died due to the pandemic. Do health professionals who participate in the fight against the pandemic investigate their own health and determine their risk status? If so, how was an immunosuppressed internship practiced?
Is the necessary equipment for the protection of health workers against the virus fully provided?
Are you going to make a regulation on the working conditions of inmates who are considered medical according to the location of the student? “
REACTION TO THE AKP EXECUTIVE
Stating that health professionals are trying to save other people’s lives without regard for their own lives, Arık claimed that a nurse working at Kayseri city hospital was subjected to violence by the district administrator by AKP Kayseri Melikgazi.
Addressing the Provincial Director of Health and AKP executives, Arık said:
“Apparently the person in question asked the nurse, ‘Do you know who I am?’ saying, she made threats. The nurse does not know who this person is, but we do know who the nurse is. He is one of the true heroes who fight to save people’s lives while ignoring his own life.
While people are afraid to approach his parents, he is a brave altruistic health army soldier who fights to heal the parents of others … I hope both the Provincial Director of Health and the AKP administrators will remind him of the friend who questions who he is, and what kind of sacrifice and self-denial health professionals serve.
