Kardelen Kamişli, an electrical and electronics engineer living in Ankara, shared the terrible event she experienced on her social media account.
Kamişli stated that he went to Kırıkkale for business every day and stayed in the hotel one night in the city because he was tired on September 7, using the following statements;
* Around 02:40 to 02:50, I suddenly woke up to see a man I had never met or seen before sitting on my bed and looking at me. Although I don’t know how long it’s been there, when I opened my eyes, I saw that the person was looking at me.
* With the shock and fear of the moment, “Who are you, what are you doing here?” I screamed; but I couldn’t get up where I was because of the fear I was experiencing. He said ‘you are a friend of Nurbanu, I need to talk to you about something’; But I haven’t even communicated with anyone named Nurbanu in my life.

“I COULD NOT MOVE OUT OF FEAR”
* ‘Who is Nurbanu? This person, whom I tried to push away from myself by saying, ‘Get out of my room’, and as if the harassment I had done was not enough, said insolently: ‘I took a cigarette from you, I will smoke it and I will go’. When I yelled ‘fuck you’, he took off his shoe and put it on my pillow as if the incident was normal.
* I also saw that there was a jacket in my suitcase that was not mine. I couldn’t move out of fear in the seconds of these events; But with the removal of her shoes, I thought the event would evolve to a different place, I got up from where I was and went to the phone in the hotel room to call the hotel reception.
‘Could you have had a dream?’
* Right now from my personal affairs. I tugged on my arm and called the front desk. The person took her jacket in my suitcase and fled my room.
* Seconds after I told the receptionist about the incident at the door and the attendant left, my door was slammed again and I opened the door thinking that the attendant had returned.
* When I looked down the hall without leaving my room, I saw this man who made a ‘silence’ sign behind the column again. I immediately closed my door and called the police.
* When I called 155 ‘I may have dreamed, ma’am, are you sure? I came across the question. They accused me of something like that while the fear and tension of the incident was on me. He wanted to be sure and that the crews would come to the hotel immediately.

INCLUDED IN THE ROOM OF OTHER CLIENTS
Kardelen Kamişli explained that while he was waiting for the police teams, the same person knocked on his room door again:
* In this process, when the person knocked on my room door again, I couldn’t leave my room and I was imprisoned in my room with this fear. When I called the front desk to find out if the equipment had arrived in a short time, they said the equipment arrived and they took the person away.
* At this, I was finally able to leave the room where I was imprisoned, transmitting that I wanted to see the camera recording and I went down to the lobby. While waiting for the team, they stated that 2 men in the lobby entered their room and while one was beaten, the person took off his shirt in the other’s room.
* When the male guests said they wouldn’t complain, “How can you not complain, what else should you have?” I said and said I would complain.
Complained
Kardelen Kamişli, claiming that the police came and took the person away, said: “Let’s make them reconcile,” he said;
* I asked the team supervisor to end this ridiculous attitude by saying, ‘What are you talking about, officer, what are you talking about? Two friends of the person said: “The alcoholic does not know what he is doing, he does not complain.”
* Today ‘alcohol is produced by mitigating’; I said that there is no excuse to harass and harass anyone, I will complain separately from the person and the hotel management who cannot provide my security, and that I will never strictly follow the process for the implementation of material, moral and administrative sanctions.
* Beyond the complaint report and the statement I gave to the police, I personally went to the Kırıkkale Palace of Justice and sent my request to the Attorney General’s Office. I started the legal process and I will never let go.
“NONE OF US SHOULD SURVIVE HARASSMENT, MURDER”
Kardelen Kamişli completed her post with the following statements;
* I want everyone who reads this article to put themselves in my place and realize that that day they could be in that hotel. As a woman, I could settle for the majority and accept this; But defending my right is the main representation of my honor and dignity.
* It does not matter if the person experiencing the event is a man or a woman; I don’t want anyone to experience this trauma or something. Receive SMS and many more outside of society. None of us should ever again be the victim of harassment, psychological violence and even more so of rape or murder.
THE POLICE IS INVESTIGATING HOW TO ENTER
The SMS, which was taken into custody following Kardelen Kamişli’s complaint and released by the court to which it was referred, was found to remain on the same floor as Kardelen Kamişli. Police are investigating how the suspect entered the room.
GOVERNOR’S REVIEW BEGINS
The Kırıkkale governorate made a written statement about the exchange of Kardelen Kamişli. The statement included the following statements;
“Regarding the incident of an unknown man who entered the hotel room where the person named Kardelen Kamişli was staying on the night of 07/09/2020, the suspect was detected and captured that same night, including the hotel manager, initiated a legal action against 2 people as suspects. Our governorate has initiated the necessary administrative review regarding the other allegations that Kardelen Kamişli shared on social media platforms. With our wishes to Kardelen Kamişli, it is announced to the public that all necessary procedures are carried out with precision. ”
EXPLANATION OF THE HOTEL
Gökhan Algül, chairman of the hotel board, used the following statements in his written statement on the matter;
* The security units were immediately informed about the incident and the incident was referred to the judicial authorities, it is in the investigation stage. In this context, our hotel has fulfilled its responsibility as quickly as possible.
