Merve Mercan, a student at Selcuk University School of Medicine who contracted the corona virus in Konya, passed away today.
WALL – Selcuk University announced that Merve Mercan, a sixth-grade internship student at the medical school, passed away around 8:00 a.m.
At Mercan, who was treated 45 days ago due to a positive test for the corona virus (Covid-19), it was found that she had immunodeficiency 5 days after her hospitalization. Mercan, who received all the steps of the treatment, passed away this morning after struggling to survive in intensive care for 40 days, despite intense effort and all medical interventions.
