Due to construction works on the Yenikapı Airport – Atatürk transfer, the metro services of the M1A Yenikapı-Atatürk Airport line. The period will run between Yenikapı – Ataköy / Şirinevler. According to the statement made by IMM, an underground pedestrian road connection will be built to the Yenibosna station of the current M1A Yenikapı – Atatürk Airport metro. In the construction process of the project, which is expected to last around 14 months; The Yenibosna, World Trade Center and Atatürk Airport stations will be closed. Passengers wishing to continue in the direction of Atatürk Airport can use the IETT buses at the Ataköy / Şirinevler station exit free of charge. The shuttle bus service will serve the stops at Ataköy-Şirinevler, Yenibosna, World Trade Center and Atatürk Airport.
ABOUT THE M9 ATAKÖY-İKİTELLİ METRO LINE
When the 13.4-kilometer line consisting of 12 stations is completed, the partial opening of which is scheduled for 2021; It will reduce the distance between Ataköy and İkitelli to 19.5 minutes and will have a capacity of 35 thousand passengers per hour in one direction.
Line; Bakırköy-Kirazlı – Başakşehir Metro at İkitelli Industrial Station, Kabataş – Mecidiyeköy Metro – Mahmutbey – Esenyurt at Mehmet Akif Station, Kirazlı – Halkalı Metro at Mimar Sinan Airport Station, Yenikapı Airport – Metro Station del Atatürk at Yeniboskörk station will be integrated with Marmaray.
