The termination of isolation in patients with indication for hospitalization will be carried out from the day of PCR in PCR positive cases and at the end of day 14 from the onset of symptoms in possible cases.

In cases with indication for intensive care or in immunosuppressed cases, if the PCR is positive, the isolation will be terminated from the day of receipt of the PCR, and at the end of the 20th day from the onset of symptoms in possible cases.

In addition, a permanent cough or loss of taste / smell will not cause a prolongation of the isolation, since it is taken into account that although the infection has healed during isolation, some people may experience a cough or loss or change in the sense of taste or smell. for several weeks.
