In the Hayriye district of the Denizli Çardak district, firefighting work continues until evening.
49 tanker trucks, 16 tanker trucks, 2 first responders, 7 helicopters, 13 bulldozers, 150 personnel were involved in the fire. As the weather darkened, air support was cut off in response to the fire.

The AFAD and Red Crescent teams were sent to the area because the fire was near the settlement. It was learned that some settlements were evacuated. It was reported that the fire was surrounded and tried to be controlled and at least 25 hectares were affected.
Agriculture and Forestry Minister Bekir Pakdemirli arrived in the region by helicopter to examine the fire that broke out in the Çardak district forest area, Hayriye district.

In making a statement in the evening, Pakdemirli said: “Our teams continue their firefighting efforts with great devotion and do everything necessary to prevent the fire from spreading, including the backfire method. I hope we have the fire under control in the next few hours, ”he said.
THE FIRE CONTINUES IN 4 PLACES
In other news, the General Directorate of Forestry announced on Thursday, September 3, that it was fighting 22 fires in forests, rural areas and scrub. Apart from the Çardak district of Denizli, the fire continues at night in 4 more places. The ongoing fires were reported to be Kütahya / Gediz, Ankara / Çubuk, Uşak / Merkez and Çorum / Kargı.
