The Central Council of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB) and Health Minister Fahrettin Koca met face to face for the first time since March 11. The Chairman of the TTB Central Council, Prof. Dr. Sinan Adıyaman made statements after the meeting.
THE PROBLEM OF THE FAMILY DOCTORS WILL BE SOLVED
Claiming that the health workers passed on their problems, Adıyaman said: “When the family doctors working at the family health center got sick and received a report, their wages were cut. At the end of the meeting we had, we knew that this would be resolved as soon as possible. It’s very nice news, ”he said.

Adıyaman said: “We also learned that as of August 1, a regulation has been made regarding the fees of experts, assistants, family doctors and other doctors fighting the COVID-19 epidemic. This is also very pleasant ”.
‘OCCUPATIONAL ILLNESS’ IS ON THE AGENDA OF THE MINISTRIES

Dr. Özlem Azap stated that Health Minister Fahrettin Koca stated that studies will be conducted with the relevant ministries to evaluate health workers who died from COVID-19 in the category of occupational disease. Azap also indicated that a study will be carried out on people who work in risk areas with respect to screening tests.
4-5 times MORE VACCINE WILL BE PROVIDED
Prof. Dr. Özlem Azap stated that they met with Minister Koca about vaccination studies and said:
* The Minister of Health stated that the flu vaccine will be provided 4 to 5 times more than in previous years.
* In this case, he indicated that vaccination studies will be carried out in the coming weeks, especially the group at risk.
* The pneumococcal vaccine was not available in pharmacies. They stated that this vaccine was delivered and will be used in the coming days.
Covidien-19 vaccine PHASE-3 STAGES OF TURKEY
Stating that they exchanged views on the studies on the COVID-19 vaccine, Azap made the following statements:
* We learned that phase one of the studies conducted in Turkey.
* Adding some phase 3 phase vaccines produced abroad, we found out that in Turkey.
* We hope that the studies carried out here will be shared with us in a transparent way in the next period.
