The building, where the Onikişubat and Dulkadiroğlu district offices are located, as well as many workplaces, will soon be demolished by the Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality and the city square will be built in its place. The Mayor of the Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality, Hayrettin Güngör, first brought the town square project to the agenda during the visit of the Minister of Environment and Urbanization, Murat Kurum, to the city on November 22, 2019, and he told the Authority his project. With the support of the Ministerial Institution, Hayrettin Güngör accelerated the town square project and finally gave information about the town square project at the council meetings of Onikişubat Municipality and Dulkadiroğlu Municipality.
