The incident took place in front of the Courthouse on Fatih Street last night. Adem Karabacak (24) and his friend İsmail K. (23), who were waiting in front of a nearby cafeteria for their relatives who were taken to court for an unknown crime, were attacked by two unidentified people. The two friends, hit by the bullets from the fired weapon, fell to the ground in blood.

Following the warning of the people around, many policemen and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Severely injured in the attack, the couple were taken by ambulances to the Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital of Hitit University. Adem Karabacak, who was admitted to treatment, could not be saved despite all the interventions of the doctors in the hospital. İsmail K., who was injured in the leg, was said to be in no danger of death. One of the suspects who escaped after the incident was caught by police teams, while the other suspect is being searched everywhere.
