ÖSYM President Halis Aygün shared several steps to take in exams due to the corona virus.
Aygün made the following statements on his social media account:
“Dear candidates,
We continue to apply the Covid-19 pandemic measures in our KPSS and other examinations. I would like to share these precautions and preparations with you.
The exam buildings / hallways are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to the exam.
Within the scope of coronavirus measures, masks and disinfectants will be distributed to candidates at the entrance of the exam building. Candidates may take their disinfectants with them.
Latex gloves along with masks and disinfectants will be distributed to our examiners.
Candidates and officers can also come with their own masks and / or visors.
Candidates with a Covid-19 related situation will be determined from their HES codes and divided into groups according to their Covid-19 status in accordance with the recommendation of the Scientific Committee, and will be examined in separate rooms prepared in our examination centers.
In this case, the candidates whose exam place is changed will be informed by our Agency by SMS.
The Covid-19 status of our examiners will be tracked using HES codes.
The duties of examiners whose Covid-19 status is determined will be canceled and new assignments will be made in their places.
Municipalities will provide more frequent trips to the areas where the exam buildings are located for candidates to get to the exam buildings.
To avoid clutter in school gardens and maintain social distance, no one except candidates and examiners will be allowed into school gardens.
Examiners will guide candidates to maintain social distance at the entrance of the exam buildings and at the exit of the building at the end of the exam.
It is important that the candidate relatives do not wait and leave to avoid clustering at the entrance / front of the school gardens. “
