Başak Demirtaş, wife of former HDP co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş, who has been detained in Edirne Prison since 4 November 2016, stated that the prison administration did not allow her children to be reunited with their father.

Başak Demirtaş said: “Selahattin was not allowed to see our daughters Delal and Dılda together. Selahattin has only been able to see his daughters once and separately since the pandemic began. “

AKP Manisa MP Tamer Akkal made scandalous remarks about Demirtaş’s inability to reunite with his children with his Twitter account.

Akkal said: “Selo couldn’t get in touch with his dogs. Our Martyrs children cannot reunite with their parents. God will give it to you or to us.

“I DIDN’T DO MY SHARE”

The AKP deputy first deleted the tweet and then made a statement after its post generated a huge backlash.

Akkal’s statement is as follows:

* Today, the exchange about Selahattin Demirtaş and her family from my official social media accounts in the early hours of the morning was not done by me; It is an exchange made by a consultant friend mixing accounts.

DEMİRTAŞ LAWYER: WE WILL PRESENT A LAW

Selahattin Demirtaş’s lawyer, Mahsuni Karaman, stated that they will file a lawsuit and said:

* This person is a creature who became a deputy before becoming a human.

* Bold enough to insult and threaten publicly, coward enough to erase what he wrote.

* Of course we will sue. However, we also doubt that it has legal capacity as it does not have humanitarian qualifications!
