Since December 2019, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a negative impact in all areas, including the aviation industry. Our Incorporation makes the maximum effort to protect the employment of all our employees by conducting negotiations with other stakeholders, including the authorized union, while benefiting from the incentives and facilities provided by Public Institutions and Organizations due to surplus employment. resulting from this compelling reason.
In our previous announcements, we shared with you, our valued colleagues, the details of our proposal regarding the negotiations being carried out for this purpose and the salary regulation between the Hava İş Union and our Incorporation.
As a result of the final meetings between our Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. İlker Aycı, and the President of the Air Workers’ Union, Mr. Ali Kemal Tatlıbal, in the presence of Mr. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a decision was made between our Incorporation and the Air Workers Union on the following points and a protocol of Collective Bargaining Agreement was signed. . According to this;
1.A deduction of 30% of the workers’ compensation of our domestic ground employees, 35% of the flight compensation of our cabin employees, 50% of the flight compensation of our cabin employees and 30% of the compensation for dismissal of all our employees and the application of these redefined salaries as of September 1, 2020 (As of the payments to be made on October 8),
2. These redefined wages are included in the 1st and 2nd year 2021 of the 26th Term Collective Bargaining Agreement. An additional increase of 1% will not be applied in the calculation of the salary increase of six months, and an increase in the rate of change of inflation of six months,
3. The bonus payments determined by the collective bargaining agreement for the 26th period will continue to be paid on these redetermined amounts,
4. It has been decided that the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement of the 26th Period regarding social assistance, kindergarten attendance, indemnities – bonuses and other payments will continue to apply as they are.
In this context, the Short Work period, which began on April 1, 2020, with the delivery of our valued employees and the support of our State, will end as of August 31, 2020, and for our employees who accept the salary regulation, as of September 1, 2020, we will begin working full time with the new determined salaries.
The work order that will be implemented for our domestic ground employees in September and then announced to you, our employees, through our Employment Department.
As a requirement of the responsibility of being the national flag carrier, our Chairman of the Board of Directors has repeatedly stated that the main objective of our Incorporation is the protection of employment, and the main and most important purpose of this wage regulation and the short job that our Incorporation applies for overriding reasons is job protection.
We firmly believe that this solidarity and individual sacrifice that comes from being a great family will return to our Incorporation and its collaborators as a collective gain.
