The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hami Aksoy, responded in writing to the question about the news reflected in the press about the military shipments from Greece to the island of Meis.
Noting that the news about Greece’s military build-up on Meis Island appeared in the press, Aksoy recalled that Meis Island was disarmed with the Paris Peace Agreement of 1947.
Aksoy stressed that if the news in the press is correct, this is a new indicator of Greece’s lawlessness and its true intentions in the Eastern Mediterranean.
