Turkish Football Federation President Nihat Ozdemir, Health Minister Fahrettin opined Koca’yl last week, the day after the Super League said it will start June 12-13.
With the Federation meeting with the TFF Board of Health today, decisions regarding league dates will be made after the meeting. TFF announced the dates the leagues will start on its official website.
Here is the statement made by TFF:
The Board of Directors of the Turkish Football Federation has met today with the TFF Health Board. TFF Board of Health, the Premier League and, in addition to the opinions and advice with other leagues, Turkey 2 and 3. The Union League Club Association considering the written request, a new evaluation has been carried out.
The TFF Board of Directors has decided that leagues that have been suspended due to the Covid-19 outbreak will begin on the following dates for now:
1-Super League competitions as previously announced on June 12, 2020
2-TFF 1. League competitions June 19, 2020
3-TFF 2. League and TFF 3. League competitions July 18, 2020
4-Regional amateur league competitions July 18, 2020
