The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has issued a circular on the controlled standardization process in accommodation facilities. According to the circular, some of the measures to be taken in tourist facilities are as follows:
-The distance between the tables served for meals will be 1.5 meters and 60 cm between the chairs next to each other.
-Service staff will be responsible for maintaining distance rules and avoiding contact during service.
-Dining rooms, meeting room, cake room, multipurpose room, conference room, lobby, reception area, living room, game room, exhibition hall, entertainment, entertainment areas, bar, disco, sales units, sitting / waiting in open areas / eating and drinking arrangements, and all general areas of use, including around the pool and shade / hammock groups on the shore, will be arranged according to plan of social distance, the necessary measures regarding social distance will be taken, signs will be made and no guests will be accepted beyond the capacity according to the plan.
– Vehicles such as tea / coffee machines, water dispensers, beverage machines in general use areas will be removed or the guest will receive service through service personnel.
– The cleanliness and hygiene of the pool water, the pool and the beach surroundings are provided to a maximum extent, the chlorine level is maintained between 1-3 ppm in outdoor pools and 1-1.5 ppm in indoor pools . Traceability records of periodic measurements are kept.
-Guests will receive a thermal camera or non-contact fever measurement applications, disinfection mats (mats) and hand disinfection facilities at the facility entrance, and guests will be provided with personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves , upon request. Guests will be asked for information on the location, if any, of their chronic conditions, whether they have had Covid-19 or not.
-As far as possible, contactless payment will be charged.
-No conditions of social distance between them will be required in the use of the general places of guests staying in the same room or in the same family.
– Units such as games rooms, kids club, amusement park, playground reserved for children within the facilities will not be put into service.
-Hand sanitizers or antiseptics will be available at the entrances of general use areas and in the clients’ bathrooms in general, as well as in different places in large general use areas.
– If possible, the entrance doors of the general toilets will be organized as an automatic door system, and if not, a front panel will be placed appropriately and the entrance doors will be kept open.
-If units such as gyms and gyms are put into service, a reservation system is applied to ensure its safe use, the number and duration of people who will use it at the same time are limited, and hygiene materials and areas of use are cleaned with hygiene material according to standards. In these spaces, products such as soap, shampoo, and shower gel are offered to the guest for individual use.
SPA units such as baths, saunas, massage units will not be put into service in facilities that do not have a Healthy Tourism Certificate.
-Pool towels will be offered to guests in closed bags or by staff.
– In the case of the open buffet application, a plexiglass or similar barrier will be built to prevent the access of the guests to the guests side of the buffet, and the service will be provided by the kitchen staff.
– Hygiene cleaning will be carried out with alcohol-based products after each guest use of items such as dining tables, chairs, service items, sugar, salt, spices, napkins, menus. If possible, sugar, salt, spices and disposable napkins will be used.
– A regular health check-up of the personnel will be carried out and periodic information will be obtained from the personnel so that the people they live with can be monitored in terms of Covid-19. Special training will be provided to all staff on epidemics and hygiene.
– Thermal camera or non-contact fever measurement applications, disinfection mats and hand disinfection or antiseptic will be available at the staff entrance. Daily cleaning and hygiene of staff clothing will be provided. Care will be taken to employ the same personnel as much as possible on the same shift.
– Rest areas of locker rooms, showers and common bathrooms will be organized according to the conditions of social distance, arrangements such as landmarks, lanes and barriers will be made, and if necessary, cleaning and disinfection of these areas will be provided regularly.
-If there is accommodation for staff in the facility or in a separate location, accommodation will be provided for up to 4 people, accommodation will not be provided in the room system, cleaning, hygiene and health measures of the accommodation will be provided and food and beverage units under conditions applicable to guest units and those who are not staff of these units. Access will not be allowed.
-The rules are established and implemented to maintain the contact of people who are temporarily accepted into the facility for a minimum due to supply or other reasons (repair, maintenance, etc.). In addition, it is guaranteed that these people carry out their operations protecting the social distance rule and using protective equipment.
—The cleaning of the guest room is carried out by the staff wearing masks, using disposable gloves for each client’s room.
