An Iranian national in Esenyurt turned himself in to the police, stating that he killed his mother-in-law and father-in-law 3 months ago and kept their bodies in the freezer. The number of arrests increased to 3 in the investigation.
According to information from police sources, suspect Muhammed K said that three months after the murder, he killed the father-in-law and mother-in-law at the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, cut the bodies and put them in the refrigerator and freezer.
The suspect was handed over to teams from the Fatih District Police Department Security Office teams by consular officers.
Teams from the Esenyurt Public Security Office, which received Muhammed K from the officers, went to the address in Mehterçeşme Mahallesi 1961. Sokak, where the incident occurred.
Teams controlling the refrigerator and freezer in the department’s locked room found fragments of fragmented corpses.
The disintegrated bodies were found to belong to the suspect’s father-in-law, Siavash Galeh Bakhtiari (71), and to his mother-in-law, Fatemeh Alidadishamsabadi (64).
After the investigation, the bodies were sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
The teams also detained Shirin Galeh B., the wife of Mohammed K, and Shah Shahad Galeh B, with her sister.
