IN WHICH PROHIBITED TRAVEL PROVINCES?
As you may recall, the long-distance ban in Antalya, Aydin, Erzurum, Hatay, Malatya, Mersin and Muğla ended at the cabinet meeting held last week (May 4). After the cabinet meeting held yesterday (May 11), nine more provinces were decided. Consequently, the restriction on entry and exit has been lifted in Adana, Diyarbakır, Mardin, Trabzon, Ordu, Denizli, Kahramanmaraş, Şanlıurfa and Tekirdağ provinces.

To obtain a travel permit document from the e-government screen, first log in with the TR identification number and password. After logging in, you can enter the “Request to e” section at the Home Office. The form is completed by selecting “Travel permit procedures” from the options.

When will the ban between cities end?
With the circular issued by the Interior Ministry, intercity travel is prohibited in 30 metropolitan cities and Zonguldak since April 3. After the first ban in 15 days, they were extended another 15 days. According to the published circular, the inter-city travel ban will end on May 3. However, the inter-city transport ban is expected to be extended again. The end of May is shown as the date that the ban will disappear entirely.
Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated that good work has been done to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and that internal tourism can begin in late May.
