Hüseyin Keskin, General Manager of the State Airport Authority (DHMİ), announced new measures to be taken at airports due to the new type of coronavirus outbreak (Covid-19).
Keskin, in his statement from his Twitter account, stated that they are examining the new measures that they will implement within the scope of the “Covid19FreeAirports” project in the transition to the “new normal order” in aviation.
Keskin declared that the scope of the measures applied in all processes will be expanded, from entering the airport to leaving airports.
“The physical conditions of airports will be rearranged according to the social distance rule. Check-in queues and rule-free seating areas will be organized in a way that cares for the social distance range. To reduce density and contact, the necessary arrangements will be made in the baggage areas, and a sufficient distance between the baggage belts will be provided. “
Keskin also shared some images of the steps to take in the statement.
