Ortanca Mahallesi from the İpekyolu district was quarantined on May 5, after the 6-person corona virus test was positive. Health teams also began screening and health tests in the neighborhood.
Despite being banned by the Corona virus measures, the Eraygen family set up a condolence store in the neighborhood. A judicial and administrative investigation was launched against members of the Eraygen family and Muhtar Mehmet Nuri Yönten. So Muhtar Yönten was fired.
The quarantine began to be implemented in the Gövelek, Aritoprak and Karakoç neighborhoods, where residents of condolences live. The number of cases, which was 51 as of yesterday, was found to have increased to 75 today.
COMMUNITY AND PROHIBITED LOCAL EVENTS
In the statement made by the Van Governorate, it was stated that the number of positive cases related to the condolence-related coronavirus (Covid-19) increased to 75 as a result of the studies carried out to determine those who attended the condolences in the Ortanca district and the tests carried out by the medical teams:
* Collective activities such as condolences and mevlit are prohibited. Notifying the organizers of such events to the 155 Police lines and 156 Gendarmerie is of great importance for the health of our community and our fight against the coronavirus.
* Let’s not forget that we are going through a critical period. Do not leave our house unless it is mandatory. Let’s wear a mask and take care to protect the social distance on the street where we go in mandatory situations.
* In this period, let’s keep our social distance with our family members at home. Let’s follow the rules and help our officers in our city where the two-day curfew applies. (DHA)
