Evacuations on the campus of the Sincan Criminal Enforcement Institution began yesterday morning as part of the Enforcement Act.
The police and gendarmerie teams took extensive security measures in front of and around the prison. The relatives of the condemned were not allowed to wait in front of the prison. A point about 4 kilometers from the prison was established for members of the press.
Some of those convicted who benefited from the compliance law were put on buses and released from prison.

Alaattin Çakıcı, who was in prison, was also released from prison at midnight. Cars that Çakıcı and their relatives left the campus in convoy.
Organized crime leader Alaattin Çakıcı was transferred from Edirne to Bolu Type F Prison on July 16, 2016 and from here to Type F Prison in Kırıkkale Keskin District in 2017. Çakıcı was transferred to Sincan Closed Prison on August 13, 2018.
