Health Minister Fahrettin Koca met with university rectors, deans and chief hospital doctors with a video conference on the coronavirus.
Minister Koca, from the Twitter account of the video about the meeting, said: “There is a new development in the table of treatment of patients with coronavirus (coronavirus) today. reduce the total number of patients in our intensive care unit for the first time on the Turkish scale. Our scientists from our 6 universities agree. This is the result of measurements, with the treatment followed. The result that we will obtain with the measurements is clear. “

Addressing the rector, dean, and top doctors in the video, Koca said:
* Turkey is different from other countries, as we have seen, last week, what we see is 10 more days.
* The rate of increase in hospitalized patients, intensive care patients and intubated patients tended to decrease.
* The patient, who entered intensive care for the first time today and was intubated, fell numerically. In other words, there was a decrease of 3 to 3.5 percent.
* This is extremely important, and we see that the number of days in hospital for the patient in intensive care every day decreases.
CURRENT SITUATION IN TURKEY
After the appearance of the first cases in Turkey, the coronavirus passed 33 days. With the death of 95 people yesterday, the number of deaths increased to 1101 since March 11. The Health Minister, Fahrettin Koca, announced that the total number of tests carried out was 340,380 and the total number of cases was 52,167.
According to data shared by Koca, the number of patients in intensive care was 1626, the number of intubated patients was 1021, and the number of cases recovered was 2965.
