4 people were killed and 2 injured in the accident that occurred as a result of a collision between light commercial vehicles and cars in İdil district of Şırnak.
The accident occurred at kilometer 10 of the Şırnak-Mardin highway at night. The light commercial vehicle registration 06 FA 3533 under the direction of Abdullah Dündar collided with the car registration 27 AEG 805 under the direction of Osman Urat in Aslantepe village of İdil district. In the accident, which apparently occurred as a result of improper overtaking, the driver of the car Osman Urat, Kezban Aşkın and Roni Aşkın (3) in the vehicle, Abdullah Dündar, the driver of the light commercial vehicle, and Mehmet Ali Önder and Veli Önder, who were occupying the passenger position, were injured.
Following the warning, the gendarmerie, firefighters and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Kezban Aşkın, Osman Urat, Abdullah Dündar and Mehmet Ali Önder, who were in the vehicles, were found to have died during a check by the medical teams. Roni Aşkın and Veli Önder injured were taken to İdil State Hospital by ambulances after the first intervention.
While the wounded were being treated in the hospital emergency department, the lifeless bodies of 4 people who died in the accident were taken to the morgue of the same hospital for autopsy.
